Information for customers from the EU
Why, from 12 August 2026, we can no longer organise our own shipping to other EU countries.
Why we can only offer collection by forwarder
Since 12 August 2026, the new EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR, Regulation (EU) 2025/40) applies. It requires every sender who ships goods to other EU countries to appoint a registered authorised representative in each individual country of destination – with ongoing reporting duties and fees in every single country.
For a small business like Rhönkonzept, that is not something we can carry economically. In the video above we explain the background in more detail.
From other EU countries, only our four complete sets can currently be ordered. These are collected free of charge by a forwarder of your choice from us in Eichenzell (collection ex works).
All other, individual products are unfortunately still delivered only to a German delivery address. That means you need a service provider who receives the goods in Germany and forwards them to you – for example a parcel forwarder of your choice.
Do you have questions about the collection, or would you like some advice first? We are happy to help.
