Cantilever arm on the Bautri tripod

A steel beam rests on the head plate and projects beyond the tripod. At the rear, the KA101 adapter flange braces it via a prop against an abutment. The load hangs beside the tripod – over an edge or a floor opening.

A tripod that can also work as a cantilever arm. We know of no comparable tripod made from construction props that can also be used as a portal and a cantilever arm.

Tested

The Bautri system is DEKRA-tested for tensile and compressive loads of up to 3.3 t.

Component with verification

KA101 adapter flange, verified by calculation: 12.1 kN with centred and 7.6 kN with off-centre bolting. No load capacity in kg is guaranteed.

Your responsibility

You as the user select, dimension and take responsibility for the beam, rear prop, abutment and the lifting device as a whole.

What for

Lifting and lowering where no vehicle can reach.

The cantilever arm brings the anchor point to where the load actually is.

Concrete sawing and wall sawing

The hoist hangs directly above the cut – the cut-out concrete section is picked up and set down in a controlled way.

Concrete core drilling

The anchor point sits above the core hole; the heavy core is pulled out and lowered.

Floor opening

The tripod stands on the safe surface and the beam projects over the opening. Loads are lowered to the floor below or brought up from there.

Loads on the façade

Set up on a balcony, roof terrace or floor slab, the cantilever arm projects over the edge – material can be hoisted up without a vehicle having to reach the building.

Installing a debris chute

The debris chute segments are hoisted up the outside façade with the cantilever arm and moved into position – without a scaffold hoist and without a vehicle at the building.

Installation in existing buildings

Pumps, motors or units in basements and plant rooms: where there is no anchor point, a temporary one is created.
