Can I use my existing building supports and save money?
Yes! That is precisely the key advantage. You do not need to purchase an expensive complete system. The Bautri system is designed to work with standardised European scaffolding props (EN 1065), which many people already own or which are widely available at low cost, even second-hand.
The advantages for you are significant cost savings and maximum flexibility, as you are not tied to any particular brand.
How well does the system work on uneven ground, at height, or in hard-to-reach areas?
Excellent. The system adapts to your construction site.
- Height: Achieve a system height of up to 4.00 meters.
- Unevenness: Each support is individually adjustable. This allows you to easily compensate for uneven terrain or steps and ensure a completely secure footing, even on surfaces, in narrow spaces, or on slopes that cannot be handled by machines.
Why does Bautri use screws instead of a quick plug-in system?
For 100% safety and universal fit. Unlike plug-in systems, which can wobble, our screw connections guarantee an absolutely secure and play-free fit. This compensates for the different foot and head plates of various support manufacturers and is a prerequisite for safe load bearing of up to 3.3 tons.
Can one person assemble it?
Yes, the design is deliberately kept simple. All parts are assembled lying on the floor and the system is then erected by just one person. You do not need any special tools.
Bautri WORK or Bautri RESCUE – which one is right for me?
That depends entirely on your area of application:
Bautri WORK – The workhorse:
- Purpose: Exclusively for lifting loads of up to 3.3 tons.
- Ideal for: Construction, crafts, landscaping, and industry.
- Important: Not approved for securing persons.
Bautri RESCUE – The lifesaver:
- Purpose: Certified for securing up to 3 persons (PPE according to EN 795) AND lifting loads of up to 3.3 tons.
- Ideal for: Fire departments, THW, high-altitude rescue, and all safety-critical operations.
- Special feature: Features a special swivel eye for maximum safety in dynamic rescue situations, as well as a secondary attachment point.
Why is the maximum load capacity of the Bautri system sometimes stated as 3.3 tons and sometimes as 2.5 tons? What does the actual load capacity depend on?
The maximum load capacity of your Bautri structure is not a fixed value, but depends directly on two factors: the class of the construction props you are using and their current extension length. As the user, you are responsible for correctly assessing your configuration.
- The rule for 3.3 tons: You can only achieve the maximum load capacity of 3.3 tons under one specific condition: You must use higher class B/D construction props (in accordance with standard EN1065 or equivalent) and must not extend them beyond 3.50 meters.
- The rule for 2.5 tons: In all other cases, the maximum load capacity is 2.5 tons. This applies in particular if you:
- extend class B/D props beyond 3.50 m (up to a maximum of 4.0 m), OR
- use standard construction props (e.g. class B according to EN1065), regardless of their extension length (up to a maximum of 4.0 m).
